High Coast Terroir Gin
In September 2016 Hernö Gin released Sweden’s first Terroir Gin, Hernö High Coast Terroir Gin. Distilled with juniper berries, rowan berries and the signature botanicals from Hernö – Lingon Berries and Meadowsweet. All picked by hand in the UNESCO World Heritage Area of the High Coast.
A deep and rich forest gin that really gives you the feel of walking in the forest of the High Coast in Sweden.
Juniper Berries, Rowan Berries, Lingon Berries and Meadowsweet.
Nose: Massive meadowsweet accompanied by crunchy green juniper berries and rich forest floor
Palate: Rich creamy texture with a pleasant sweetness and green leafy notes. Woody spice.
Finish: Juniper lingers for minutes, sappy wood and meadowsweet and a little warmth.

60 ml High Coast Terroir Gin, 30 ml honey water and one egg from a local hen. Shake everything without ice for about 6 seconds, then with ice for about 8 seconds. Strain into a coupette.
