Known as the cocktail that preceded the Martini and the Dry Martini, Martinez has a history of being based on different styles of gin. Taking this story further, Linus Morgon at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm created this version with Hernö Dalarosso Dry Gin, matured on casks that has held Mancino Vermouth Vecchio.
60 ml Hernö Dalarosso Dry Gin
5 ml Luxardo Maraschino
2 dashes saline solution
1 dash Angostura Bitter
Stir. Serve in a shilled cocktail glass. Garnish with grape zest.
