Gin fizz
A true classic cocktail easily turned into a Gin fizz tonic by adding some premium tonic instead of soda. Yummy! Note that the fizz is not served over ice, it’s meant to be slurped.
Ingredients
50 ml Hernö Gin
20 ml freshly squeezed lemon
20 ml of simple syrup
20 ml of egg white
Preparation
Pour Hernö Gin, freshly lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white into a shaker. Shake everything without ice for about 3 seconds, then fill the shaker with ice and shake again for about 7–10 seconds. Add soda water to the shaker, 50 ml or more depending on if you like it stronger or weaker, and strain the cocktail into a old fashioned glass or a whiskey glass. Finally garnish with a lemon wedge.
