Sweet

Sweet is one of the signature cocktails at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm, created by Food & Beverage Manager Linus Morgan. The Palette is an interpretation of our five basic flavors and sweet is really something. Keep in mind to visit Hernö Gin Bar for more taste experiences while in Stockholm.

Ingredients

35 ml Hernö Old Tom Gin
2 drops saline solution*
80 ml Carbonated Gooseberry & Rooibos Cordial **

Preparation

Serve over ice, garnish with orange zest.

* Saline Solution
1 part salt
3 parts water
Stir together until salt is completely dissolved in the water. Keep in sealed bottle in refrigerator.

** Carbonated Gooseberry & Rooibos Cordial
1 part of frozen gooseberries
1 part caster sugar
1,5 part water
1/10 part Rooibos Tea
1/5 part Malic Acid
1/2 part Hernö Old Tom Gin
1/2 part fine filtered limejuice (freshly pressed limejuice through a coffefilter)

Mix all ingredients except sugar in a bucket, and keep over night in refrigerator, strain though coffefilter or cheese cloth, andan add the sugar and stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Carbonate with a sodastreamer or other coronation machine.
