Caramelised Gin & Tonic served as an Old Fashioned

Make one yourself

Ingredients
  • 60 ml Hernö Juniper Cask Gin
  • 10 ml Caramelised & reduced tonic syrup*
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 drops Angostura Bitter
  • Orange zest
Preparation

Stir everything for about ten seconds. Strain over an ice cube into an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with orange zest. *Caramelised & reduced tonic syrup: Boil 10 dl tonic (Fever Tree Indian Tonic). Caramelise 6 dl sugar on medium heat, stir continuously. When all sugar is in fluid form and has turned yellow-brown, pour the heated tonic over the sugar. Be careful, it may splash. Stir until sugar and tonic is mixed. Keep heated for ten minutes. Strain into a bottle. Keep cold.
