Gin x Gin x Tonic

Linus Morgan, Food & Beverage Manager at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm, created Gin x Gin x Tonic as an aperitif for a cocktail dinner with Markiz Tainton during Hernö Gin Cocktail Awards 2024.

Ingredients
  • 30ml Hernö Dry Gin
  • 30ml Acid Boosted Hernö Dry Gin*
  • 30ml Sweetened Fever Tree Tonic**
  • 2 Dash Orange Bitter
Preparation

Pour all the ingredients into a stirring glass and stirr for about ten seconds. Strain over a glass filled with ice. Top with a lemon zest. *ACID BOOSTED HERNÖ DRY GIN -500ml Hernö Dry Gin -27g Citric Acid -1,5g salt Mix and stir until the acid is dissolved. Pour into a glass container. Lasts up to 4 weeks or longer in refrigerator. ** SWEETENED FEVER TREE TONIC -500ml Fever Tree Tonic -600g sugar Boil the tonic, let it reduce for 10 minutes, add sugar, turn off the heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let it cool and pour into a glass container. Lasts up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
