We wanted to go bold and question boundaries and rules. So we let our classic Hernö Gin mature in a cask previously used by Laphroaig. Limited to 787 bottles, 456 sold in Sweden, 45,3 % vol.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Peat, pine and oak, some peppery notes and hints of saltiness. A bit fruity and citrusy fresh

Finish
Finishing with juniper and a lingering layer of smoke, vanilla and fruits. A dry salty finish.

Palate
Starting with some classic Hernö characteristics, juniper and floral meadowsweet accompanied with peat. Smooth start and intensifies with some warmth and rich woodiness.

We offer tastings in our distillery in Dala outside Härnösand and at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm.

The tasting will take two hours and a serving of the world’s best gin and tonic is included.
