Hernö Sipping Gin 2022

Hernö Sipping Gin 2022 is created letting Hernö Old Tom Gin mature on ex port wine cask from Caves Santa Marta. Two casks of 225 liters each used to mature Tawny Port for 12 months. Hernö Old Tom Gin has matured in the casks for 60 days. Limited to 1,003 bottles, 43% vol.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Oak leading on the nose. A floral push followed by almond and caramel, butter and vanilla. An underlying note of crunchy juniper

Finish
Citrus with clear notes of meadowsweet and juniper. Long lingering spicy oak.

Palate
Floral and juniper forward. A rich texture with nutty notes and dates. A little sweet and peppery.

We offer tastings in our distillery in Dala outside Härnösand and at Hernö Gin Bar in Stockholm.

The tasting will take two hours and a serving of the world’s best gin and tonic is included.
