The 15'th anniversary years edition of Hernö Sipping Gin connects swedish spirits heritage with modern gin culture. Hernö Gin has been matured for 100 day in casks from iconic Grönstedts Cognac. The result is a gin where juniper and vibrant citrus notes blend with gentle hints of oak, dried fruit, and subtle spice from the cognac casks. Elegant and nuanced flavours connecting past and present, celebrating both the craftsmanship and the stories that shaped swedish spirits culture. 44% ABV. 1603 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Nose
Juniper intertwined with light oak and notes of cognac carrying dried fruit, orange peel, and vanilla.

Finish
Long, smooth, and balanced, with oak, grape sweetness, and lingering juniper.

Palate
Distinctly Hernö in character, with juniper and citrus meeting vinous influences from the cask. Notes of raisins, toffee, almond, and gentle spice.
